A Lifetime Adventure
Sometimes, the world can feel like a giant adventure filled with tricky challenges. You may meet people who have forgotten how to be kind and loving, which can make things a little scary. But don’t be afraid; our Lord will walk alongside you every step of the way.
You and I are traveling on this path now. We don’t know what’s ahead, but we have faith that God will lead us and keep us safe.
On the way we notice signposts that say “Path of Life” and “Ancient Path.” We also notice something important: everyone’s journey looks a little different.
Some of us might be like race cars, zooming ahead on the path. Others may be careful hikers, taking one step at a time and stopping to admire the view. And guess what? That’s a good thing—because God made each of us special. One-of-a-kind. No two people have the same fingerprints, laugh, or even the same way of talking to God. That’s how special you are!
God knows how to talk to YOU in a way you can understand. He might whisper in your heart, show you things in dreams, or even speak through a song, a friend, or a feeling deep inside.
This journey won’t always be sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, there will be tough days, like when you step on a Lego barefoot, or you pick up a rose and prick your finger. But there will also be moments of pure joy, wonder, and excitement—like when you see a double rainbow or hear your favorite song! 🌈🎶
When you feel scared or confused, remember the song “Jesus Loves Me, This I Know, for the Bible tells me so,” because it is like a warm hug from God, reminding you that He’s always there, guiding and loving you.
This Week’s Challenge.
This week, when something tough happens, say: “Jesus, walk with me so that I can stay on Your path.”
This Week’s Prayer:
“God, thank You for my journey. Help me trust You on tough days and thank You on happy days. Amen.”
